Works by Angelina Aschmann

About the artist

Angelina Aschmann lives and works in the Lake Zurich region. Art has accompanied her for many years and is an integral part of her everyday life.

In her paintings, she works with different materials and layering techniques. Spatula, scratching, collages and the interplay of colors create works with structure and depth. Many of her works take impressions from nature and her surroundings and interpret them in an abstract way.

Her works have already been exhibited at various venues in the region and find their way into private collections.

Underwater Worlds

What happens when we look beneath the water’s surface?

The exhibition explores the stillness and movement of water.

In “Underwater Worlds,” Angelina Aschmann presents a series of works that celebrate water in all its facets.

The artist Angelina Aschmann explores surfaces, depths, and the refraction of light.

Sometimes delicate, with pastels and ink, as in “Fischteich”; sometimes densely graphic, with accents of gold leaf, as in “Lust auf Meer.” Each painting is a world of its own: fluid, shimmering, full of fish, coral, and water lilies.

The materials are part of the message: ink conveys rhythm, acrylic creates depth, pastels evoke mist and light, and gold leaf captures the sun’s glare on the water. In this way, each painting becomes a moment suspended between clarity and blurriness, between surface and depth.

The exhibition invites you to immerse yourself in it.
