Try our homemade Metzgete croquettes with marjoram emulsion or the hearty cider soup with Limmattal country smoked ham – a modern interpretation of traditional customs.

Origin Metzgete

Metzgete is a centuries-old Swiss custom that has its origins in farming tradition. Farming families used to slaughter a pig in autumn and process the meat into long-life specialties for the winter. This feast of slaughtering was celebrated with neighbors and friends – the birth of the Metzgete.
